New and Big Changes to Air Canada Frequent Flyer Program

Many people may be confused by the relationship between Aeroplan and Air Canada, but now it seems that this confusion will be cleared in the near future: since 2020, Air Canada will end its contract with Aimia, which has operated Aeroplan for a decade.

The Ph.D guy thinks that this will not only bring about major changes to Air Canada, but also exert influence on credit card points system, especially American Express. As we know, Membership Reward Points can be converted to Aeroplan miles by 1:1, but what will happen since 2010? Let's wait and see.
